Nacha Payments Webinar (CTP and AAP credits)

The Future of Business Payments and Treasury

Technology is reshaping how businesses move money, manage liquidity, mitigate risk, and operate the treasury function. From faster and instant payments to APIs, automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging payment models, treasury organizations are navigating a rapidly evolving landscape.

Join Nacha’s Robert (Rob) Unger for a forward-looking discussion on the trends influencing business payments and treasury. Rob will share insights from Nacha’s work to understand these developments, how organizations are responding, and what they may mean for the future of treasury operations, technology, and strategy.

Robert Unger, AAP, is Managing Director, ACH Network Development at Nacha—The Electronic Payments Association, where he leads innovation strategy and industry engagement initiatives. He is responsible for Nacha’s corporate outreach initiatives and its payment information service, Phixius by Nacha, the industry’s peer‑to‑peer network for secure payment‑related data sharing.

Prior to joining Nacha, Mr. Unger served as Director of Education at Research and Management Systems, a technology firm providing software and management solutions for research, education, and e‑commerce in government and higher education. Earlier, he held roles in information systems support and sponsored programs management at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore.  Mr. Unger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, a Master of Arts in Technology Education and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).
