When Treasury Transformation Pays for Itself: Lessons in Automation, Visibility, and Savings

Treasury transformation is about more than modernizing technology. It's an opportunity to streamline operations, strengthen controls, and deliver measurable business value. But what if the transformation could also pay for itself?

Join us for a real-world look at how a large, multi-bank organization transformed its fragmented, manual treasury operations into a more connected, automated, and data-driven function. We'll share lessons learned from implementing a Treasury Management System (TMS), centralizing bank connectivity, automating cash reporting and ERP integrations, and strengthening bank account governance. We'll also explore how combining treasury technology with targeted bank fee advisory unlocked recurring savings sufficient to cover the entire cost of its treasury transformation.

 Attendees will gain practical insights into connecting technology, process improvement, and advisory expertise to maximize treasury investments, uncover measurable savings, and demonstrate treasury's strategic value.

Speaker(s):

Ryan Weismiller, CTP,is a Senior Consultant in Clearsulting’s Treasury Advisory practice, specializing in treasury technology and bank relationship management. Before joining Clearsulting, Ryan spent more than four years as a corporate treasury practitioner at two Fortune 250 companies, where he managed daily liquidity, short-term debt and investments, and banking relationships. Since transitioning into consulting, he has supported more than 10 global TMS implementations and worked with treasury organizations across a range of industries to improve visibility, automate processes, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency and cost savings. Ryan brings a practitioner’s perspective to his advisory work, combining treasury operations experience, technology expertise, and data-driven analysis to help organizations elevate treasury from transactional execution to strategic value creation. Ryan holds a BS in Economics from the University of Delaware.

Kevin Koeneman, CTP, is a Director of Treasury Advisory at Clearsulting, where he specializes in treasury process improvement, bank relationship management, and treasury technology. Kevin's passion for Treasury began over a decade ago, developed through previous roles as Treasury Manager at a Fortune 1000, where he oversaw global treasury operations, and as Manager at a Big Four firm, focusing on banking and capital markets consulting. Kevin holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Finance & Banking from the University of Missouri.
