Topic: LIBOR transition to SOFR and impact to corporate treasurers & banks

Replacing LIBOR "would be the most profound development in financial markets" for years to come. LIBOR is the rate that banks charge each other for short-term loans, but is also used as the benchmark for other debt instruments. SOFR is based on an overnight rate. She is a member of the Federal Reserve Payment Task Force and actively contributes through the FedPayments Community Forum, working towards improving the U.S. payments infrastructure. Beatriz has a solid knowledge of the global payment ecosystem, emerging services & financial products and technology. Beatriz holds Master’s Degrees from the University of Dallas in Corporate International Finance and in Management & E-Commerce.
