Topic: LIBOR transition to SOFR and impact to corporate treasurers & banks

Replacing LIBOR "would be the most profound development in financial markets" for years to come. LIBOR is the rate that banks charge each other for short-term loans, but is also used as the benchmark for other debt instruments. SOFR is based on an overnight rate. LIBOR will be going away and if you are a corporate treasurer leveraging financial instruments for your operations join us and learn what actions you can take now.

Speaker: Beatriz Saldivar, Director, Treasury & Payments, Axletree Solutions

"Beatriz has over 20 years of experience as a multinational corporate treasurer, consultant and global payment expert. She is the Director, Treasury & Payments with Axletree Solutions. Beatriz has played integral roles in implementing and operating global Fortune 100 & 500 corporate treasury centers, in-house banks, share service centers and audit, risk management & compliance projects.

She is a member of the Federal Reserve Payment Task Force and actively contributes through the FedPayments Community Forum, working towards improving the U.S. payments infrastructure. Beatriz has a solid knowledge of the global payment ecosystem, emerging services & financial products and technology. Beatriz holds Master’s Degrees from the University of Dallas in Corporate International Finance and in Management & E-Commerce. She is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Austin AFP, previous Dallas AFP Board Member and member of the Fort Worth AFP."
