Topic: Cyber Security for Professional Service Firms

USI Southwest’s Head of Executive Risk, Kara Altenbaumer-Price, Esq., will discuss how professional services providers can ensure their clients respond to cyber events—including breaches, proactive risk control, ransomware, and cyber business interruption incidents—in a manner that does not run afoul of their cyber insurance and maximizes coverage of related costs, including accounting and legal costs.  She will address recent trends in cyber-related litigation and state regulatory enforcement, as well as tips for factoring insurance into contractual requirements with vendors and customers to allow your clients the best protection possible in the event of a cyber incident.

SpeakerKara Altenbaumer-Price, Esq.. SVP, Corporate Risk & Governance

Kara has spent more than 15 years in the world of executive risk, first as a lawyer defending companies and their executives in securities and compliance issues and then as a broker and client advisor in USI’s D&O practice.
