Many people in organizations take on a fiduciary role without knowing they are a fiduciary. Many people that think that only an executive or officer of a company can be a fiduciary. In our discussion we will outline what makes someone a retirement plan fiduciary, roles and responsibilities of a fiduciary and how best to protect yourself if you are a retirement plan fiduciary. We will review some recent court cases as examples of how to protect yourself from liability.
